Pack 4019 Den Meeting
Jan 30 @ 6:15 pm – 7:15 pm

Den meetings occur every Tuesday except the first Tuesday of the month (which are all Pack meetings). But you should be in contact with your Den Leader to know the specifics. While many Den meetings occur at the Firs, sometimes there will be field trips, meetings at other locations, or cancellations. If you are a member of the public and would like to attend a den meeting, please contact [email protected] and we will connect you with the right Den Leader for your age kiddo.

Pack 19 adventure hike (Oyster Dome)! @ https://maps.app.goo.gl/ebYz9GVnSoVtjWvJ6
Feb 3 @ 9:00 am – 1:30 pm

Let’s get moving! We’re planning a pretty fun, but adventurous (meaning long) hike at the Oyster Dome TH (on the Blanchard Mountain side, NOT the Chuckanut side). We’ll have some snacks and treats for during the hike and hotdogs and hot chocolate for after – but please bring snacks you know your kiddo will eat! Please help your scout pack the cub scout 6 essentials. Not everyone needs a first aid kit (I’ll have a big one), but water is obviously a must, and it’s good to start teaching your scout to be prepared! Please bring appropriate layers and rainwear if necessary – there is no such thing as bad weather, only a bad choice of clothing! This is also a “normal friend activity” so invite non-scouting friends and their family members to join us.

Pack 19 Snowshoe adventure! (weather backup) @ https://maps.app.goo.gl/hkQFdLcX5snXR6368
Feb 24 @ 11:00 am – 3:00 pm

Details: Join Cub Scout Pack 19 for a backcountry snowshoe hike just outside Mt. Baker Ski Area. Never been snowshoeing before? No problem! This is an all ability level, nobody gets left behind event for girls and boys! Don’t have snowshoes? Still no problem! We have the skinny on where to rent them for kids ($8) and adults ($18). This event is part of Pack 19’s “normal friend activities” series where we encourage cubs to invite their non-scouting friends and we welcome non-scouting families to join us in an outdoor adventure. If all goes well, we’ll learn a little about backcountry snow travel, but focus on having fun. Bring a sled, shovel, or your favorite snow play equipment for sledding, snow cave building, and general snow fun before, during, or after the snowshoe hike. If weather looks dangerous we will have a weather delay date of 2/24. Note that snow is not bad weather – it is beautiful! And there is no such thing as bad weather, just a bad choice of clothing. But…if we are looking at sleet or temperatures dangerously cold, we’ll send out a cancellation and reschedule to 2/24. NOTE: If anyone loves backcountry snow travel, please contact event lead Jason Vogel, he could use an assistant event lead (let’s grab a beer to discuss!).

4019 all Pack mtg
Mar 5 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

This month we’ll be doing an off-site all-pack meeting at the gazebo at Barkley Village. The gazebo is just to the east of Haggens. You can park in the Haggens parking lot and walk over quite easily, or bike there via the Railroad Trail.

Please attend in Class A uniforms so we can get noticed!

4019 all Pack mtg
Mar 5 @ 6:15 pm – 7:30 pm

Pack meetings are on the first Tuesday of each month and all dens attend in Class A uniforms. We typically do flag ceremonies, a fun activity or two, and awards/advancements. The public is welcome to attend, but the uniforms and ceremony may be less interesting for new kids and families than starting out by attending one of our NFAs (normal friend activities) which occur monthly except in summer.
