Den meetings occur every Tuesday except the first Tuesday of the month (which are all Pack meetings). But you should be in contact with your Den Leader to know the specifics. While many Den meetings occur at the Firs, sometimes there will be field trips, meetings at other locations, or cancellations. If you are a member of the public and would like to attend a den meeting, please contact [email protected] and we will connect you with the right Den Leader for your age kiddo.
Den meetings for most age groups occur every Tuesday @ 6:15pm at The Firs.
Weblos level 1 (4th grade) meets on Mondays @ 6pm at South Whatcom Library in Sudden Valley. You should be in contact with your Den Leader to know the specifics.
During the first week of each month, the first Tuesday will be an all-Pack meeting instead of Den meeting.

Details: Join Cub Scout Pack 19 for a backcountry snowshoe hike just outside Mt. Baker Ski Area. Never been snowshoeing before? No problem! This is an all ability level, nobody gets left behind event for girls and boys! Don’t have snowshoes? Still no problem! We have the skinny on where to rent them for kids ($8) and adults ($18). This event is part of Pack 19’s “normal friend activities” series where we encourage cubs to invite their non-scouting friends and we welcome non-scouting families to join us in an outdoor adventure. If all goes well, we’ll learn a little about backcountry snow travel, but focus on having fun. Bring a sled, shovel, or your favorite snow play equipment for sledding, snow cave building, and general snow fun before, during, or after the snowshoe hike. If weather looks dangerous we will have a weather delay date of 2/24. Note that snow is not bad weather – it is beautiful! And there is no such thing as bad weather, just a bad choice of clothing. But…if we are looking at sleet or temperatures dangerously cold, we’ll send out a cancellation and reschedule to 2/24. NOTE: If anyone loves backcountry snow travel, please contact event lead Jason Vogel, he could use an assistant event lead (let’s grab a beer to discuss!).
Hold this date for a Committee Meeting, pending feedback from committee members on change to future dates.
Note that committee meetings will now use Meet (no longer using Zoom).

This month we’ll be doing an off-site all-pack meeting at the gazebo at Barkley Village. The gazebo is just to the east of Haggens. You can park in the Haggens parking lot and walk over quite easily, or bike there via the Railroad Trail.
Please attend in Class A uniforms so we can get noticed!
Join in the fun at the Tiger Den meeting at Noble Hall starting at 6:15pm (normal meeting time)! We will be hosting Brad Burdick and Ray Shields from the Northwest Washington Woodturners. They will set up a portable wood lathe to introduce and demonstrate the proper safety and use of the machine! They will turn and embellish our Tiger Talking Stick (currently a simple, old piece of closet rod — boring) into something beautiful that will last many years! What’s a talking stick? Come and find out! Next, Brad and Ray will show us how they turn a spinning top. Bring your questions and bring a friend. All Pack 19 Dens welcome! Each child will receive a wooden spinning top to take home as a souvenir — I wonder who can get theirs to spin the longest before it topples!!
save-the-date for this year’s AOL families – this is a Troop 4019 event to welcome the new scouts who crossed over from Pack 4019 in February
